Next CHIUG meeting

The time has finally come.. the next CHIUG meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the IBM office in Oak Brook.

The meeting will be hosted by IBM and will include presentations on Informix product roadmaps, discussion and demonstrations of a great variety of IBM products and technologies, and more -- details here.

The meeting will run from 9 AM - 2 PM, with a lunch provided. Please watch our Web site (www.chiug.org) or this E-newsletter for updates! We will begin the full session with a light lunch and networking from 11:30-12:30.

About the Chicago area Informix Users Group (CHIUG)

In an effort to serve our user community better, we have changed our name to the Chicago-area Informix Users Group, and now have our own domain (chiug.org). Please bookmark this page, and come back often for details about what is happening in and around this community.

This user group was founded in 1995 andcontinues to help gather and disseminate information aboutInformix products as well as other product offeringsfrom IBM that can be integrated with the Informix line of products.

The CHIUG primarily made up of users from the Chicagometropolitan area, but also attracts members from southern Wisconsin and downstate Illinois. If you would like to join in the group and it's activities please join our mailing list.

Our mission is to present tools for developers and administrators and to keep Informix users in our localuser group informed of the latest news from Informix. Although the time and dates and location of our meetings might change from time to time, our efforts are focused on providing informational meetings and sessionsfour times per year.

As supporters of the International Informix Users Group, we are also dedicated to providing feedback to Informix regarding their products, and to act as a resource for Informix sales and marketing efforts.
